Yes, I am still alive! Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I have been a busy bee making most of my updates on instagram and facebook these days. It’s been a non-stop and fulfilling summer keeping up with my kiddos during the day, and working on my second book and my second fabric collection by night. I also have some exciting news that myself and a handful of very talented people have all been working on, and it officially kicks off tomorrow!
Tomorrow, Tuesday August 9th, is the start of my very first blog/instagram tour. High Tea Collection is my first fabric collection for Lecien Fabrics. It is starting to ship to fabric stores now, so please be on the lookout. 🙂 Some shops that I’m aware of that carry my fabrics can be found here, but be sure to look online or at your local fabric shop as well.
What is a Blog/Instagram Tour?
In a nutshell, 18 very talented designers/makers have been having fun making something using my High Tea Fabrics! Starting tomorrow, each person will reveal what they made on Instagram (and their blog, if they have one). It will be 18 days of sewing inspiration!
Below is a list of the tour schedule, so you can follow along and join us for our Tea Party! Or to simplify it, you can just follow me @QuiltingintheRain on instagram, and I will be sure to share each and every one of their lovely projects on my feed, with links/tags to their page. I will also plan to do weekly updates and share their projects here on my blog. 🙂
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I am truly thankful for everyone that has participated in my blog tour. These gals are seriously a very talented bunch. It was a lot of work leading up to it and now it officially starts tomorrow! I am forever grateful for the tremendous amount of support from my quilty instagram community.
With the days blurring by, my goal for today was to get this post out before the tour starts. And it’s only 12:07 am so I think I’m good to go (to sleep) 😉
Thank you for stopping by, and I do hope you will join us for some High Tea these next few weeks! I assure you it will be full of eye candy, fabric loveliness and lots of sewing inspiration!
