What happens when I place an order online? TOP
All orders are processed through Paypal which uses a highly secure SSL server that will keep your payment information safe. You do not need to have a Paypal account to checkout. After placing an order, you will receive an email confirmation/receipt of your purchase. We will ship your order within 1-2 business days; you will also receive a tracking number via email. If you use our flat rate shipping of $4.95 (priority mail) and are located within the US, it usually takes 2-3 business days to arrive at your doorstep once shipped. What forms of payment do you accept? TOP
We are currently using Paypal, which accepts all major credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express). Upon checkout, you will be re-directed to a secure Paypal site to enter your payment information. You do not need a Paypal account to checkout - there's an option for people that don't have existing accounts to checkout. The PayPal site is highly secure, and uses industry-leading technology (such as SSL) to keep your information safe.
Do I need a Paypal account to make a purchase? TOP
No! If you don't have a Paypal account, simply click the 'Don't Have a Paypal Account?' link as outlined in the red box below. This will allow you to enter your credit card information without signing up for Paypal.
What are your shipping options and rates? TOP
All U.S. orders ship 2-3 day Priority for only $4.95!
All patterns ship free!
We offer additional options for expedited or international shipping:
*Please note, we cannot provide a tracking number for 1st Class International mail; please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery.
How soon will my item(s) be shipped? TOP
As soon as we receive your order, your item(s) will be packaged and ready to ship within 1-2 business days.
Will I get tracking information? TOP
Yes, you will get a tracking number for your order as soon as it ships (except for first class international shipping).
Do I have to pay sales tax? TOP
If your items are shipped anywhere within Washington State, you will be charged Washington State sales tax. Otherwise, it’s tax free!
Is it safe to use my credit card on your site? TOP
Yes. Upon checkout, you will be re-directed to a secure Paypal site to enter your payment. Paypal uses SSL encryption technology to secure all commerce transactions.
What is your return policy? TOP
If you’re not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return it to us within 30 days of your purchase for a full refund. The product must be unopened and returned in its original condition. Contact us at info@quiltingintherain.com if you would like to make a return.
Why do we only have x items in stock? TOP
New fabric collections are manufactured regularly, and being a fabric addict, I’m on top of the latest and greatest! I place all fabric orders months in advance to make sure the freshest prints are made available to you. In order to maintain a fresh inventory of the latest products, we don’t stock a huge inventory of a single product. Once we’re out, we order the next latest thing! How often do you receive new products? TOP
This can vary depending on the season; however, it's typically several collections every month. Since we’re a new small business, we hope to grow and provide more fabrics more frequently! You can find out what our latest products are by signing up to our newsletter, or liking us on Facebook. Also, check out our Coming Soon link.
What is a fat quarter? TOP
A fat quarter is 1/4 yard cut of fabric that measures 18 inches x22 inches; usually you can get more cuts out of this measurement instead of the typical 9"x44" quarter yard cut. It's a great way to get an assortment of matching fabrics for piecing quilt tops.
What is a charm pack/ layer cake/ jelly roll? TOP
All of the above are pre-cut fabrics and are great because they come packaged with an assortment of fabrics (usually at least 10 different prints) that are all in the same color/pattern scheme.
Charm squares are pre-cut 5 inch squares.
Layer Cakes are 10 inch pre-cut squares.
Jelly Rolls are 2.5 inch x 44 inch strips.
Turnovers are half square triangles cut from a 6 inch square.
Honeybuns are 1.5 inch x 44 inch strips.
